A laser works with light. The special laser light is transmitted in a concentrated form to the tissue you want to treat. The energy generated ensures a gentle treatment of the tissue.
Lasers have been used as a treatment method or as a complement for many years in hospitals in Denmark and abroad. In the USA and Switzerland, among other countries, laser technology has been used for dental treatment for many years with great success. Of course, it is very important to have further training before using a laser, which is why our dentists have attended countless courses and training programs. Lasers can be used for many different treatments such as surgery, complementing periodontal treatment and root canal therapy. We don’t always believe that laser is the best treatment, so we always inform you when it’s best to use laser.
